Scale has as much to do with physical properties: the dimensions of the built environment as measured against ourselves, as with psychology: insistence that the built environment emulates our beliefs and reflects the image we hold of ourselves. Proportion , while rooted in mathematical equation, is also belief-bound and emotive. Spatial geometries thus have a profound effect on our psyche.
